Overview

The Top Spray division of West Fraser Cochrane is currently seeking applications for Seasonal Depot Operator for our busy Cochrane Mulch and Soil Depot.

The Site will be open from Monday to Saturday with alternating 5-day shifts and start times. We hire two people to run the site from mid-April through late October.

Primary responsibilities will include:

• Operating skid steer to load customer pickup trucks and trailers
• Fill and label bagged product to maintain inventory. Bags weighing up to 50 lbs
• Periodic offsite work with blower trucks, carrying bags of see or other products, site cleanup and repairing hoses up to 35 lbs
• Collect and process customer payments
• Work is mostly outdoors when not processing invoices

Skills:

• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Previous skid steer operator experience is an asset
• Knowledge of landscaping industry

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• 44 hr work week
• Full-time seasonal position from May to end of October

Wages & Benefits:

• Entry level wage is $27.71
• Group Benefits commence at 3 months, nightshift premium may apply, pension plans, safety equipment supplied, etc.
