Overview

The Top Spray division of West Fraser Cochrane specialises in blower truck application services of bark mulch, soil blends and erosion/sediment control products as well as hydroseeding.

Job Details:

• Blower Truck: Applying landscaping soil blends and bark mulch as per job specifications
• Hydroseeding: Assisting with slurry mulch/seed applications.
• Valid class 3 license (not a prerequisite)
• Must work well in a team atmosphere
• Able to work in past-paced environment
• Able to work well unsupervised
• Adhere to safety procedures
• Work in dusty environments
• Attention to detail
• Hydroseeder – out of town work as needed
• Blower Truck – out of town every third week as scheduled

Physical Demands:

• Long hours
• Working outdoors (exposure to heat/sun/rain)
• Long periods of standing
• Physically fit, lifting to 50 lbs

Schedule:

• Will vary, Monday to Thursday or Tuesday to Friday
• Start time 6:30 am
• 44 hour work week
• This is a full-time seasonal position from May to end of October

Wages & Benefits:

• Entry level wage is $27.71
• Group Benefits commence at 3 months, nightshift premium may apply, pension plans, safety equipment supplied, etc.
