Contributing to the health and well-being of children, youth, and adults, you “Take Care of Banff” by delivering programs, events and drop-in activities. Your previous experience has prepared you to help develop and maintain programs with a focus on lesson plans that ensure engaging, fun, and safe activities appropriate to participants that represent a variety of ages, stages and abilities.
This role is ideal for a qualified leader, who is looking for opportunities to fill in program schedules on a casual or call-in basis. The position accountabilities are:
Ideally you have completed a post-secondary program in recreation, social work, childhood studies, education, physical education and/or leadership. A combination of education with at least one hundred hours of work experience with children and youth, demonstrating the responsibilities listed above will be considered. You will be required to provide confirmation of current First Aid certification and an RCMP criminal background check with vulnerable sector clearance.
