Job Summary

As a team our goal is  to create an unforgettable, picture perfect experience for our guest.

Your role is that goal is very inportant! At Canmore Rocky MountainInn, our Guest Service Team wears most of a traditional hotel_ from reservations specialist to activities director, we do it all.

Job Responsiblities

  • Responsible for the check in and department of hotel guests
  • Answer the hotel phone both internal and external
  • Be an expert on local and onsite services and be able to provide information about them
  • Use accurate accounting and cash handling procedure,
  • Respond promptly and appropriately to guest requests,
  • Communicate very effectively with all other other departments within the hotel
  • Maintain an accurate inventory of rooms, reservations and room assignments
  • Manage reservation made by phone, email, and through OTA’s
  • Represent the culture of Canmore Rocky Mountain Inn and build repeat guests
  • perform other related duties as required by management.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • A passion for customer service and a strong attention to detail;
  • Energetic, flexible, reliable, respectful, hand- on individual with initiative and integrity.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced work environment
  • Excellent organizational communication and interpersonal skill;
  • Friendly and pleasant demeanor courteous self motivated an professional

Requirements:

  • Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision, independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts, including AM,PM and over night as needed
  • Good computer skills, knowledge of webrez pro is preferred, but not  a must
  • Previous Front Desk and/or customer experience id preferred
  • Relevant education and experience in a hospitality, or tourism setting is preferred
