The Assistant Lifeguard supports to the safety supervision function and provision of services at the Town of Canmore’s Aquatics Centre at Elevation Place. As a junior member of the Aquatics team, and under the guidance of our certified National Lifeguards, the Assistant Lifeguard is responsible for providing a safe, welcoming, and sanitary environment. In addition to providing safety supervision of the pools; you will provide emergency support to the lifeguards and instructors, provide exceptional customer service, participate in team training sessions, and ensure the ongoing cleanliness and maintenance of our excellent facilities. This is a great position for someone who is looking to make a positive contribution to their community, learn about the aquatics industry, and build skills to become a fully certified lifeguard!

Term & Salary: This is an ongoing part time no benefit position targeted to start April 21, 2024. The number of hours worked will vary week to week, depending on your availability and shifts available. Successful applicants will be expected to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. The pay rate for this position is $17.82.
