Job Description

Banff Social is looking for passionate, hardworking, and reliable Line Cook to join our culinary team. Whether you’re looking for full-tine, or casual shifts, we offer flexible scheduling and a positive work environment where you can grow your culinary career.

Working alongside our talented chefs you’ll help create memorable dining experiences inspired by the Canadian Rockies using fresh, high-quality ingredients.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook menu items accordingly to Banff Social recipes and standards
  • Ensure food quality, Consistency, and presentation meet our expectations
  • Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies
  • assist with daily prep and maintain organized prep list
  • Maintain a clean, organized and sanitary work station
  • Follow food safety, health, and sanitation regulations
  • Assist with recieving deliveries and rotating stocks using FIFO procedures.
  • Work efficiently during busy service periods while maintain quality
  • Communicate effectively with the kitchen and front of house teams
  • Support the team wherever needed to ensure smooth kitchen operations.

Qualifications

  • Previous kitchen or line cook experience is preferred but not required.
  • Passion for food and hospitality.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Food Safe Certification is an asset.
  • Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
